As a partner at G Cooper and Associates, Zachary’s practice focuses primarily on complex criminal defense cases and family law. Zachary genuinely cares about his clients and is dedicated to giving his clients the one on one attention that they deserve. Zachary’s passion and determination coupled with his extensive experience in criminal, family and corporate law ensures that his clients will get their most favorable solution.
A Florida native, Zachary graduated with honors from University of Miami with a major in business administration and obtained his juris doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. Zachary is licensed to practice in the state of Florida and the State of Georgia. When Zachary is not fighting hard for his clients, you can find him rooting for his favorite sports teams and exploring the parks in Atlanta.
My Story
Zachary Shair graduated From the University of Miami in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, graduated from Nova Southeastern University School of Law in 2010, and is licensed to practice law in Georgia and Florida . Mr. Shair currently has an active Family Law and Criminal Defense Practice and is trained and certified in the Collaborative Divorce and Custody Process.
As a Family Law Practitioner, Mr. Shair is very aware of the severe mental, emotional, physical and economic pain of Divorce and Custody Litigation. In his experience, he believes that the contentious litigation mindset continues indefinitely with many parties, even after their case has concluded, resulting in years of emotional stress and failed co-parenting efforts, usually at the expense of the children.
For this reason, Mr. Shair sought an alternative to extensive courtroom battles and is thrilled to be part of this unique Collaborative team. He deeply believes in the core values of the collaborative system which provide the necessary tools for parties to not only amicably resolve their legal differences, but provide the support necessary for parties to peacefully and effectively, co-parent and co-exist years after the legal process has concluded. Mr. Shair is passionate about going above and beyond the traditional methods of practicing family law and is dedicated to providing the mental, emotional and financial support needed to help his clients not only navigate the legal process but navigate the rest of their lives.
